Roasted Okra

Roasting okra is a great way to make this healthy veg a whole lot less slimy. This simple side dish is the perfect pairing to any main dish!

Ingredients

450g okra
2 tbsp olive oil
salt and peppe

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
  2. Trim the ends of the Okra then slice in half lengthways.
  3. Spread out onto a sheet of baking paper in one even layer.
  4. Toss Okra with oil.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Roast for 30 minutes, tossing once midway through.
  7. Enjoy with any main course!
