MISO & SHALLOT BRAISED MINI SAVOY CABBAGE
Ingredients:
- 1 shallot
- Butter
- Miso
- Savoy cabbage
- Beef or vegetable stock
- Cornstarch
Method:
- Sautee 1 shallot in some butter then add in a tablespoon of miso. Gently stir then add in a mini savoy and fry until a gentle char has occurred.
- Now add in around 1 cup of beef or vegetable stock and simmer with a lid on for around 10 minutes.
- Now plate up the cabbage, leaving the sauce in the frying pan. Add around 2 teaspoons of cornstarch and stir for a minute until nice and thick. Now spoon it over the cabbage and devour!
