Garlicky Green Beans with Pine Nuts

Ingredients
500g handpicked green beans trimmed
11/2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
2 large garlic cloves thinly sliced
1/2 cup pine nuts
salt
freshly ground black pepper
Method
- Bring a large pot of salted water to the boil.
- Add the green beans and cook until tender, 3 to 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, heat the oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook, stirring for 1 minute.
- Add the pine nuts and cook until golden brown, about 3 minutes.
- Drain the green beans and transfer to the pan. Add salt and pepper and toss to coat.
- Transfer to a serving bowl.
