Easy Chicken Parmigiana
An old school favourite made easy, our recipe for Chicken Parmigiana is as simple as it is delicious. Enjoy!
Ingredients
4 boneless chicken breasts
1/2 cup Panko bread crumbs
1/2 cup Grana Padano, grated
1 large egg, lightly beaten
2 tbsp butter
1 cup Mozzarella cheese
Don Antonio Basil Tomato Sugo
Method
- Place chicken breasts between two sheets of heavy-duty plastic wrap and flatten using a rolling pin.
- Combine bread crumbs and parmesan cheese.
- Dip chicken in the beaten egg and dredge in breadcrumb mixture. Melt butter in a large pan, add chicken and brown on each side over medium-high heat.
- Arrange chicken in a lightly greased pan; pour sauce over chicken and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
- Cover and bake at 180 degrees for 30 minutes or until thoroughly heated through.
