MEATBALLS WITH A HOMEMADE CAPSICUM SAUCE

Ingredients:

  • 2 capsicums ⁠
  • 1 jar passata⁠
  • 1 punnet cherry tomatoes⁠
  • 1 red onion ⁠
  • 1 clove of garlic ⁠
  • A handful of basil ⁠
  • Homemade or store-bought meatballs ⁠

Method: 

  1. Chop onion, garlic and capsicums and fry together in a pan on high heat.⁠
  2. Add in tomatoes, a sprinkle of sea salt and passata.⁠
  3. Remove from pan and blend together.⁠
  4. Fry off meatballs and add in capsicum sauce.⁠
  5. Top with fresh basil and enjoy!
