BLT

Take your BLT to the next level by adding Maple Bacon – you’ll never taste another BLT again. Enjoy!

Ingredients

4 rashers bacon
1/2 tbsp Noble Maple Syrup
Irrewarra Ciabatta, sliced
1 tbsp Doodles Creek Mayonnaise
2 leaves cos lettuce
1 tomato, sliced

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
  2. Place bacon on a wire rack and roast for 10-12 minutes, until the bacon is starting to crisp. Carefully brush both sides of the bacon with Noble Maple Syrup and roast for a further 2 minutes. Brush once more and roast for final 2 minutes, watching carefully. Remove from the oven and allow to cool.
  3. Meanwhile, place slices of Irrewarra Ciabatta in the oven until golden brown.
  4. Remove and spread one slice with mayonnaise and scatter over the lettuce.
  5. Sit the tomato and bacon on top then sandwich with the second slice of bread.
  6. Enjoy!
