Bacon and Maple Drizzled Pancakes

  • Ingredients

    1 cup Kialla Organic Plain Flour

  • 100g bacon
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 20g butter
  • 80ml Noble Maple Syrup

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Put the bacon onto a baking tray and cook in the oven for 15 – 20 minutes, until crisp.
  2. Meanwhile, sift the flour and baking powder into a bowl. Whisk the milk and egg together in a bowl. Whisk the milk and egg together in a jug until smooth. Make a well in the middle of the flour, then gradually beat in the egg and milk mixture with a wooden spoon. When the bacon’s nearly ready, heat the pan and cook pancakes for a minute each side.
  3. Serve the pancakes with bacon, a little butter and drizzle with maple syrup.
  4. Enjoy!
