Unearthed Mushrooms

Leon recently visited Unearthed Mushrooms in the Yarra Valley. John, the founder of Unearthed, produces some of our favourites that you might be familiar with in store – from Lion’s mane to king oyster and king brown mushrooms, this is where they come from, freshly harvested, packed up and sent to our stores.

As a marine biologist by trade, he found himself working with fishermen who loved and were so passionate about their products, and he wanted that same passion for himself! So he thought about what he loves, that he can create that people will love and enjoy…the answer was mushrooms! John has always loved mushrooms and foraging wild mushrooms since he was a kid, so Unearthed Mushrooms was born.
