Ramarro Farm

What a pleasure it was to take a drive through the stunning hills & winding roads of the Dandenongs recently and end up at Ramarro Farm.

Leon spent a morning walking through the 45 tunnels of produce, and learning all about the 120 different kinds of produce Oliver and Lisa are growing there, across 14500 square meters. All produce is being grown with organic farming methods by an exceptionally passionate and knowledgeable team.

It’s unheard of for a farm of this size to be hand harvesting and hand aerating the soil with a broadfork. Many of the varieties grown at Ramarro Farm are quite rare and hard to come by.

We were astounded and so impressed by the special care taken at every step of the way to produce exceptional quality food. Food with home, food with origin. Food grown in the earth, in healthy soil, grown to be as real as it can be.

Our visit to the farm has only reinforced how much we admire everything they are doing and how much we adore every piece of food we get from Ramarro Farm.
