Jamu by Great Ocean Road Vitality

 Jamu is a traditional Indonesian medicine made from roots, herbs, flowers, bark and spices. Great Ocean Road Vitality Jamu is a powerhouse tonic loaded with turmeric, ginger, citrus and honey.

Jamu originated in Java, Indonesia, more than 1000 years ago – the drink apparently kept royal women healthy and beautiful after bearing children. Packed with the powerful anti-inflammatory golden child turmeric and and its wildly, spicy cousin ginger, both have various proven medicinal and health properties.

Kim and Drew started making Jamu when Drew was dealing with early onset osteoarthritis in his knees causing a lot of pain. He was taking way too many anti-inflammatory medications, which he felt was not conducive to good long-term health. They made the first batches of Jamu to replace the anti-inflammatory tablets. From there they started to make it for friends and were encouraged by them that people would benefit by being able to purchase it.
