Easy Waffles
Light, fluffy and ready in minutes, these easy waffles are sure to become a household favourite that the whole family will love.
Ingredients
- 1 cup plain flour
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 4 tbsp butter
- Noble Maple Syrup to serve
Method
- Preheat waffle iron according to instructions. In a large bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder and salt and set aside. In a small bowl, whisk milk and eggs; pour over flour mixture and whisk gently to combine. Gently whisk in the butter.
- Pour in ½ cup of batter into the waffle iron. Cook waffles until deep brown and crisp, approximately 2-3 minutes.
- Serve warm with maple syrup and butter, as Mum desires. Enjoy!
