Walnut & Honey Miso Paste

The perfect accompaniment for all your favourite dishes! Stir through noodles, pasta or use as a salad dressing!

Ingredients: 

  • 150g walnuts
  • 100g white miso
  • 85g runny honey
  • 2 tbsp mirin/rice wine vinegar/apple cider vinegar

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 C, spread out the walnuts on a roasting tray and bake for 4 minutes or until lightly toasted. Set aside to cool.
  2. Blitz the cooled walnuts in a food processor – aim for some to be coarsely ground but others with a little more shape.
  3. Transfer to a jar and stir in the miso, honey and mirin.

This will keep in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
